A 2018-to-2019 car is the last of the front-engine C7 generation, a genuinely different driving experience to anything built since, so decide which layout you actually want before comparing prices across that line.

The Corvettes we inspect here run a median of around 62,000 km, low for the age, which fits a car bought for weekends rather than commuting.

Inside the range, the Suburban is the cheaper way into the brand if a two-seat convertible is not the point. Against outside rivals, the BMW M4 holds 38%, a step behind the Corvette, while the Audi RS3 at 43% is a smaller, less powerful car playing a different game. The Ford Mustang is far cheaper but shows more prior body or panel repair than expected, at 71% against the 60% we would expect for muscle coupes of this age.
