The NSX is Honda's engineering flagship wearing its premium badge — a mid-engined hybrid supercar with three electric motors, all-wheel drive and a twin-turbocharged V6, built to beat European rivals with technology rather than theatre.
How much does the Acura NSX cost in the UAE?
One car, one figure: AED 574,700. There is no options ladder and no lesser version, so the 3.5 L twin-turbo V6, the 581 BHP combined output, the hybrid all-wheel-drive system and the two-seat carbon-intensive structure all come as standard. Against European supercars priced at similar money, that is a lot of hardware included rather than optioned.
What kind of supercar is the NSX?
The clever one rather than the loud one. Electric motors on the front axle fill the gaps a turbocharged engine leaves and vector torque between the front wheels through corners, which is why the NSX is famously easy to drive quickly. The trade is weight and a quieter, more clinical character than an Italian rival.
Acura NSX or Porsche 911?
The NSX is the more technically interesting car and by far the rarer sight — hybrid all-wheel drive, torque vectoring and a mid-engined layout make it uniquely undramatic at speed. The Porsche 911 is the better everyday supercar and the stronger investment. The Nissan GT-R is the other Japanese answer to the same question.
What does an Acura NSX cost to run in the UAE?
Less alarming than the badge suggests, with one caveat. The mechanical package is Honda engineering and proven, tyres and brakes are the main consumables, and the hybrid system asks for nothing routine. The caveat is support: this is a low-volume model from a brand with a small footprint here, so confirm servicing arrangements before you buy.
Drive it before you compare specification sheets — it makes its case with how it behaves, not with how it sounds.
