Used Haval Dargo for Sale in UAE

Great Wall's Haval brand built the Dargo to look and feel like a much pricier SUV, with a 2.0-litre turbo engine, a curved roofline and an equipment list most rivals in the UAE only offer on their top trim.

What to inspect on a used Haval Dargo

Remaining factory warranty period and whether it transfers to a new owner.
Turbo boost behaviour under hard acceleration.
Curved-roof headroom for rear passengers if you carry adults regularly.
Full service records rather than trusting the odometer alone.

Weigh the Dargo against the CR-V and the Ecosport on CarSwitch — the live listings make the price gap easy to see.

Frequently asked questions

Expect AED 52,000 to AED 52,000. Nearly everything on the used market here is a single recent model year, so the range you see reflects trim and options rather than age.

Our inspected cars sit at a median of around 40,000 km, still well inside any reasonable service interval for the 2.0-litre engine, with nothing in our checks flagging early wear.

A Honda CR-V costs more but holds its value far better and has the wider service network; our checks do find more mechanical faults on it than the class expects, so a pre-purchase inspection still matters. The Ford Ecosport is cheaper if the extra kit on the Dargo is not essential to you. Staying in the Haval range, the H6 GT above the Dargo swaps some cabin space for a sportier roofline.

There is effectively one generation to choose from at this point, so focus on remaining factory warranty rather than the registration year — on a Chinese brand still building its dealer footprint in the UAE, that cover is worth more than a marginally newer plate.

Below the class here — the Dargo holds about 43% of its value after five years, against 51% for mid-size SUVs of similar age and mileage in the UAE. Buy it for the equipment and the price today, not as a store of value.
