Used Toyota Prado for Sale in Abu Dhabi

The Toyota Prado is the Land Cruiser most UAE families should actually buy: the same durability and desert ability in a shorter, cheaper body, with a 4.0-litre V6 in most examples. We have 4 used Prados listed.

What to inspect on a used Toyota Prado

  • Underbody and chassis on cars that have seen sand.
  • Differential and transfer case operation.
  • Unbroken service history rather than catch-up work.
  • AC at idle across all rows.

Every Prado we list comes with its full CarSwitch inspection report — read the underbody and service sections before you offer.

Frequently asked questions

About AED 151,000 buys a 2022 Toyota Prado, with a 2023 at AED 160,000, a 2021 at AED 133,000 and a 2020 at AED 125,000. Live asking prices run from AED 73,000 for a late-2010s car up to AED 222,000 for a current-year one.

Across more than 600 Prados CarSwitch has inspected in the UAE, only 4% show an electrical or electronics fault, against the 11% we would expect for SUVs of the same age and mileage here, and 10% a mechanical fault in the engine, gearbox, suspension or steering against the 16% we would expect for the same class. Panel work sits at 51% against the 59% expected for the segment, and tyre problems run at 7% against the 12% expected for the class.

The Fortuner is the cheaper way to the same badge and nearly the same ability, but it is a rougher, more utilitarian car inside. The Grand Cherokee is more comfortable on road for less money and gives up far more when you sell. Above the Prado sits the Toyota Land Cruiser, worth the step only if you need the size.

The 150-series Prado ran from 2010 to 2023 and took its last major facelift for 2018, with the current nose, better infotainment and more safety kit, so a 2018-onwards car still feels current. The all-new 250 series arrived for 2024 on the Land Cruiser 300's platform, which is pulling the good late 150s down to sensible money.

Roughly 63% of its value after five years against about 56% for similarly sized SUVs. The Toyota Fortuner is the only cheaper Toyota SUV that beats it, at about 66%, while the Jeep Grand Cherokee holds about 39%.
