Used Jeep Grand Cherokee for Sale in Dubai

The Grand Cherokee is the American mid-size SUV that actually drives — in the UAE, a Land Cruiser alternative with a better interior and a smaller bill. We list 31 across the Emirates.

What to inspect on a used Jeep Grand Cherokee

  • Air suspension where fitted, through every ride height.
  • Cooling and AC under load in traffic.
  • Transmission shifts, cold and hot.
  • Full service history, big-ticket items evidenced.

Read the suspension and cooling findings before you make an offer — on a high-mileage V6 SUV those are the lines that carry real cost.

Frequently asked questions

A 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee averaged AED 60,000 in our closed Emirates sales and a 2017 AED 41,000. A used one lands about 25% below a new Grand Cherokee's price — the strongest single argument for buying this car second-hand. Current listings run from AED 20,500 for a late-2010s car to AED 155,100 for a recent one.

Better than the model's reputation, on every measure. Of the more than 950 Grand Cherokees CarSwitch has inspected in the UAE, 56% show previous body or panel repair against the 65% we would expect for SUVs of the same age and mileage here; mechanical faults at 17% against 21%, electrical at 8% against 14%, tyres at 8% against 14%. Median mileage is over 140,000 km — real-world use, not showroom condition.

Concede this properly: the Toyota Prado keeps about 63% after five years and the Toyota Fortuner about 66%, and both are cheaper to service. If that is the priority, buy one of those. For the same money the Grand Cherokee gives you a far better car to drive and sit in, and a cleaner inspection record than its class.

Know where the generation line falls. The WK2 ran from 2011 into the early 2020s, facelifted mid-decade, and is what most used examples are; the replacement brought a new platform and far more technology. A 2018 to 2020 WK2 with the V6 and full history is the value pick — late enough for the better infotainment, cheap enough that the first owner absorbed the drop.

No — about 39% of its value after five years, against roughly 46% for SUVs of comparable vintage. As the second owner that works in your favour: the discount is why a well-equipped V6 SUV lands in mid-size crossover money.
