The standard requirements are UAE residency, a salary from around AED 5,000 a month, a valid Emirates ID and three months of bank statements. Individual banks vary, so it is worth starting the application before you settle on a car.

Terms run from 12 to 60 months. Most buyers choose 48 to 60 for the lower monthly payment, but the longer the term the more total interest you pay — and the longer you owe more than the car is worth.
